Seattle, soccer in the rain

☕

Soccer

In Seattle, soccer fills stadiums. The Sounders play in MLS at Lumen Field in front of huge crowds and won the Leagues Cup in 2025. The Seattle Reign play in the NWSL. The city also hosted World Cup games this summer. It rains a lot, so people play on turf, and they play anyway.

Padel

Padel is just arriving in Seattle. The first clubs are opening in 2026, in the city and nearby in Kirkland and Bellevue. It’s brand new.
