Canggu is scooters, a café on every corner and rice fields squeezed between surf breaks. Lots of people here come from somewhere else, for a few weeks or a few years. So soccer is how everybody meets. Expats, nomads and Balinese players share pickup games several nights a week, on grass, often with the sunset going down behind them.
