Denpasar is the capital, and it’s where Bali actually lives. Markets, temples between intersections and scooters everywhere. Not many tourists. The city has Ngurah Rai Stadium, and more to the point, mini soccer complexes where people play every night after work. On game days, plenty of fans head out to Gianyar to watch Bali United.
