Atlanta took soccer seriously, fast. Atlanta United joined MLS in 2017, won MLS Cup in 2018 and regularly packs Mercedes-Benz Stadium. That same stadium hosted World Cup games this summer. In a football town, that says a lot. And on weeknights, neighborhood fields have never been busier.
