Kansas City loves soccer more than people think. Sporting KC plays in MLS at Children’s Mercy Park, and the KC Current have their own home, CPKC Stadium, the first built for a women’s pro team. The city also hosted World Cup games this summer. So people play everywhere, on both sides of the Missouri-Kansas line.
