Which app to play five-a-side soccer and padel in France?
By the Poteau Team · updated
IN SHORT
To book a padel court in France, Playtomic and Anybuddy are built for it. To find padel partners, Match Padel is padel-only. For pickup soccer, Streetfoot and Poteau show open games. Poteau is the only one of the five that covers five-a-side soccer and padel, with games to join in the same cities, no team needed.
What each app does, according to its own site
App | Sports | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Anybuddy | padel, tennis, squash, badminton, pickleball | book a court |
Playtomic | padel, tennis, pickleball | book a court |
Match Padel | padel | find padel partners |
Streetfoot | soccer | find amateur soccer games and players |
Poteau | five-a-side soccer and padel | join a game with spots left, price and level shown |
Descriptions come from the apps' own websites, read on October 30, 2026. Anybuddy, Streetfoot and Match Padel cover France; Poteau also covers US cities.
You want to book a padel court
Anybuddy and Playtomic show club slots and book them. That is their job, and they do it well. Anybuddy lists 1,656 padel courts in France on its site. Poteau does not book courts, except at partner centers that publish their own slots.
You are looking for padel partners
Match Padel does only that: it is built to find padel partners. On Poteau, a city's open padel games are on its padel page, with price and level.
You want to play five-a-side without a team
The list is short here. Anybuddy and Playtomic do not do soccer. Streetfoot is amateur soccer: games and players. On Poteau, games are played in five-a-side centers (LE FIVE, UrbanSoccer, Stadium). See five-a-side in Lyon, France for example.
Level, price, who shows up
On Poteau every game shows spots left, price per player and expected level. The level quiz gives you a level from 1 to 10, for soccer and for padel. A game with 2 players signed up is played 8 times in 10; with 5 signed up, more than 9 times in 10. Prices are what players saw on Poteau, around €12 per player in Paris, €10 in Lyon.
Which one to pick
You have a regular club and want to book: Playtomic or Anybuddy. You only play padel and want a player network: Match Padel. You play soccer, or both, and you are short of players: Poteau. Nothing stops you from installing two (we all have three sports apps on our phones, nobody judges).
