Two players short tonight? How to find them
In short. For a game tonight, post it in the morning. Show the price and a clear level, not "all levels." Just say how many players you need: on Poteau, nearly half of player-run games are only 1 or 2 short. And once a second player signs up, the game happens 8 times out of 10.
Two players short? You're in good company
On Poteau, one player-run game in four needs a single player. Another one in four needs two.
That's the easy case. When a game is 1 or 2 short, it gets played 2 times out of 3. When it's 5 or more short, barely more than half the time.

Post the same day, not three days out
Players without a team look late. A weeknight game usually goes up 11 hours before kickoff. A weekend morning game, the day before.
Posting early doesn't help. Games posted more than 48 hours ahead actually get played a little less often.
For tonight, post in the morning. On weeknights, when a game posted 6 to 12 hours ahead gets played, it's full 9 times out of 10. Posted in the last 6 hours, 8 out of 10.
Evenings go fast
7 and 8 p.m. are the busiest kickoff times. On weeknights, 7 games in 10 are full at kickoff.
Lunchtime is the opposite: 7 in 10 still have a spot. For a lunchtime game, post the day before, like most organizers do.
Just say how many you need

The price, and the discount
On Poteau, a spot in a player-run game usually costs €10. Show the price per player, not for the whole field.
About one organizer in five drops the price to fill up faster. We checked: discounted games don't get played more often than the others. Time and level matter more.
The second player changes everything
While you're the only one signed up, the game happens half the time. Once a second player joins, 8 times out of 10. At five, 95%.
So welcome the first one. Drop a note in the game chat: arrival time, the entrance, shirt colors. Your number is on your profile before the game, so they can call if they get lost.
